The primary objective of the department is to impart quality education and training to the students in the areas of electrical engineering. The department is fully equipped with the various laboratories so as to conduct various practicals/experiments as per the curriculum of different subjects being taught for electrical engineering.
The department has the proficiency for designing of electrical installation of industrial/commercial buildings. It is also in a position to carry out repair and maintenance of various electrical appliances/equipments. The department is carrying out electrical maintenance of the Polytechnic building including hostel and residence.
